Message from Debbi Delaney, the Karuah River Catchment Officer, Great Lakes Council;
With the first draft of the Karuah River Catchment Management Plan nearing completion. Organisers are looking for a contribution of photos taken within the Karuah River catchment to include in the plan. Ideally the catchment plan should include a range of subjects, for example;
- Landscape
- Major industries / land uses / businesses within the catchment
- The river
- Flora and fauna
- Issues within the catchment e.g. weeds, roadside runoff etc.
- People / activities in the catchment
If you have any digital photos you’re willing to share for possible inclusion in the Catchment Plan, please send them via email to debbi.delaney@greatlakes.nsw.gov.au by Friday 10 October.
Picture requirements;
- Original photos, in jpg or tiff format
- High resolution
- List the location or details of the photo
- Who the photo was taken by (so this can be acknowledged within the Plan)
Please do not hesitate to pass this around to your friends, family and networks.
