Local young writers applauded

In 2017 Stroud Writers conducted a Children’s Writing Competition for the students
of Stroud, Stroud Road and Booral schools. This resulted in all 170 stories and
poems, along with the children’s artwork, being published in a limited-edition
anthology. (The artwork featured with this story is by Blade from Stroud Public School)

Anthology CoverFor those who missed out purchasing their copy through the schools,
some are still available through Stroud Library. This anthology makes a lovely
memento of the 2017 school year to share with family and friends.

Stroud Writers would like to congratulate all children for their interesting and
imaginative stories, and wish them and their teachers the very best for their writing
endeavours in this new school year. The following students are to be congratulated for their special achievements:
