Share your ghostly tales of Stroud

Do you have an interesting or spooky story about Stroud?

The Stroud & District Historical Society is discussing the possibility of Newcastle Ghost Tours hosting ghost tour events in Stroud, and with such historic roots, they’re sure we’ve got some very ghostly tales to tell.

The tours would focus on the area between Silo Hill, Quambi Schoolhouse Museum, St. John’s churchyard and the Court House Museum but would include fables and legends of all of Stroud.  Organisers are seeking interesting and true tales about the main street and some of the buildings that make Stroud unique.

The Stroud & District Historical Society is very excited about the prospect of this new event that will not only focus on local legends, but potentially bring some overnight visitors to town.
