Local home care now available

Stroud Community Services (SCS) – your local provider of home care services – is officially open for business and taking on clients in the local area.

scs_v_colorAn initiative of Stroud Community Lodge, the service supports older people and their carers to live independently at home and be a part of their community, whether they are government-subsidised or private self-funded clients.

If you are interested in the service, the SCS case manager will come out to meet with you in your home, and discuss your needs – this is free and with no obligation.  If they can assist, they will work with you on a plan tailored to your individual circumstances, including a written agreement outlining your services and fees.

The Australian Government’s Home Care Packages Program provides a subsidy towards a package of care, services and case management to meet your personal needs. There are four levels of home care packages. Subsidies are available for all levels of care.  Each level of home care package provides a different subsidy amount which contributes to the total cost of your service and care delivery.

If you are eligible for a government-funded home care package, there will be a very small contribution to the cost of your care.
