Singing at the Monastery is all about group a capella singing, creating beautiful harmony and having a load of fun while we do it! Our setting is a picturesque mud brick Monastery, nestled in bushland, just outside the village of Stroud, NSW – about 1 hour north of Newcastle.

Your tutors, Brian Martin and Suze Pratten are dynamic teachers, highly skilled conductors and voice coaches with more than 40 years experience between them. Their positive approach helps workshop participants experience the joy of singing in a relaxed and nurturing environment, all while creating beautiful harmonies and having a load of fun!

Singing at the Monastery creates an opportunity for all to experience the magic of this tranquil Franciscan Monastery built in the 1980’s by Sr Angela Solling and the wider community. As well as the joys of creating beautiful harmonies together, Singing at the Monastery also offers the space to reflect and rejuvenate with massage, meditation and movement, bush walks, jamming by the campfire, yummy food and more…,
