MidCoast Council community conversation

Stroud Tuesday 21 March
School of Arts Hall 6pm

MidCoast Council is holding the next round of community updates right across the region in March, with important news to share on Council’s upcoming September elections, asset management, financial position and merger progress.

The meetings, which run from Monday 6 March until Tuesday 21 March, are a great opportunity for you to find out about key Council issues. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions.

Interim General Manager, Glenn Handford and Directors Lisa Schiff, Steve Embry, Paul De Szell and Ron Hartley will host the meetings.

“We value the chance to get to know people in our communities and chat about opportunities, challenges and concerns” said Glenn Handford. “It’s a great way for us to improve the quality of decision making and stay in touch with local issues.”

We are committed to providing services that deliver value for our customers and a financially sustainable long-term future. The sessions will include a report on the efficiencies and savings already realised through the merger.

Also on the agenda is an update on the “What is MidCoast” project and its outcomes so far, especially in terms of a logo design.

You will have an opportunity to hear about the upcoming Council elections scheduled for September and find out more about becoming a councillor.
