Best of British @ St John’s

What an afternoon they’ve got planned for you at St John’s Anglican Church this Sunday 16 October  at 2pm with a ‘Best of British’ Concert inspired by the Last Night of the Proms.

The Stroud Crowd Choir, under the leadership of Anne Frost and accompanied by Sydney organist High Knight, will take you on a journey through Scotland, England and Ireland. There will be a bracket of songs from My Fair Lady to celebrate the 60th anniversary of this popular musical, as well as opportunities to sing along with the choir.

Tickets are $20 (adult) and $10 (child) and are available from Stroud Newsagency, Stroud Post Office and Stroud Pharmacy as well as at the door on Sunday. There will be lucky door prizes and afternoon tea is included.

 

The concert is presented by the Friends of St John’s with all proceeds going towards restoration work.

A wonderful afternoon’s entertainment is install for all!
