Sheep and goat information sessions

This information session will cover all you need to know about:

  • Local Land Services rates, Property Identification Codes, the National Livestock Identification System, and National Vendor Declarations.
  • The impact of internal parasites on production (with Stephen Love from the Department of Primary Industries). Two producers will also share their experiences with worms.
  • Endemic diseases, including: caprine arthritis encephalitis (CAE), Johne’s Disease and footrot
  • Doe & Ewe health: preparation for healthy kidding and lambing
  • The importance of biosecurity
  • Pest animal control
