Brickthrowing this Saturday!

Some details of the 2016 Stroud Brick and Rolling Pin Competition this Saturday 9 July (information from Stroud Brick and Rolling Pin Competition Facebook page):

Entry: $10 adult; $5 shildren; Family $25;  children under 5 FREE
10-11:30am: Road closure and detours in place
10:30am: Street parade to showground
11:30am: Presentation to parade winners

First brick to be thrown by David Gillespie MP
First pin to be thrown by 2014 champion Melissa Holahan
Registration to throw brick or pin opens in front of Grandstand

Everyone is welcome to have a throw! Members of the International Team must reside in the local government areas of MidCoast Council, Dungog, Port Stephens, Cessnock and Maitland.

Parade organiser Marg Swilks advises “Parade has not changed from previous years. Gold  coin donation entry per person and marshalling at usual point at 9.30 am.  I can be contacted on 49945220 for any questions re parade.”
