Dungog Chronicle said it best
“As we wake up this morning we look back on what happened across the Hunter, particularly in Dungog and Stroud, 12 months ago today.
Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Robin MacDonald, Colin Webb and Brian Wilson who lost their lives on this fateful day.
Loving thoughts also go out to those residents who were affected by the superstorm, lost their homes, belongings – everything they owned – and lived in temporary accommodation while their residences were rebuilt or repaired.
Twelve months later there are still people who don’t have a place to call home.
it will be a tough day for many – so a smile, hug and a genuine “how are you?” would be very welcome by a lot of people.”
