Stroud Country Club is the venue for a Responsible Service of Alcohol course coming up in April. The course is being run by Aspire Training and Development.
On completion of the course you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment (RSA Certificate) and an Interim Certificate issued on behalf of the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation – OLGR, which allows you to apply for your photo competency card. The competency card is similar to a drivers licence and is a requirement if you intend to work in the liquor industry.
The course fee includes OLGR photo competency card, which normally costs $70. You’ll need to present your interim certification with 100 points of identification at an RMS Service Centre. The closest centre; Newcastle Service Centre – 114 Parry Street, Newcastle West NSW 2302 – 13 77 88. Other services centres are located in Nelson Bay and Maitland.
