Big day out at zone swimming
Students from our three local schools had a fantastic day out at the Port Stephens Zone Swimming Carnival in Raymond Terrace on Friday.
Stroud Public School won the small schools relay with Booral Public School a close second, while Stroud’s junior boys relay team also came in second. There were also some great individual performances (and lots of cheering) on the day.
A total of 14 students from Booral, Stroud and Stroud Road public schools took part in the zone carnival:
Stroud Public School: Ruby Daniels, Maddox Smith, Lily Raine, Henry Hancock, Austin Mort, Kai Boyton, Claire Harvey, Sophie Dearle, Emily Jobson
Booral Public School: Elsie Sprakel-Thomas, Mia Finch, Matilda Strauss, Griffin Dunn
Stroud Road Public School: Layla Bosworth
Congratulations to all of the students who represented their schools and their community with such great effort and sportsmanship – you’re all champions!
