February is desex your pet month

The NSW Animal Welfare League Great Lakes / Manning branch has just announced a ‘Desexing Drive’ for the month of February.

Centrelink card holders and low income pet owners in the Great Lakes and Manning region are being encouraged to have their pets desexed. This AWL funded opportunity is not to be missed.

Desexing – Cats $30 (includes both male and female)
Desexing – Dogs $40 (includes both male and female)

To book your appointment contact Marg 0408 670 757 at the AWL and she will advise the closest Vet you can use and organise your appointment.

Microchipping Day

The AWL in conjunction with Great Lakes Council is holding a pet Microchipping Day.

WHERE | Tuncurry Memorial Hall
WHEN | Saturday 6 February
TIME | 10am to 2pm
COST | $10 per dog
BOOK | Contact Marg to book a time 0408 670 757

Cat owners are welcome to participate however they advise they would prefer cats to be microchipped at home.
