Dungog Festival 22 – 25 October

This year the Dungog Festival will be bigger and better than ever, with more great food events, music, films, art, markets and lots of fresh country air.

The town will be alight and alive with a vibrant atmosphere and surprises around every corner. Visit the Festival Lounge, soak up the vibe and find out ‘What’s On’ on the daily event board, but here’s a taste:

Apart from the amazing array of excellent films (and no less than four premieres), the heritage buildings of Dungog will be alive with roving animations and art house projections on the walls. In the shop front windows of Dowling Street, you can tap into the heart and soul of Dungog by checking out Dungog TV.

If you love to party you won’t want to miss Saturday’s Starry Night Concert with Paul Mac, and there’s music galore at every venue in town. Like to stay up late? Come dance at the Late and Live Cabaret Club and the Starry Night Concert After party, or sip beer and listen to folk, funk and blues tunes in one of the local pubs.

Love your food? Take a seat at Thursday’s legendary Long Table Dinner right on Dowling St, sip champagne at the Everything Alice High Tea or join the Long Lazy Lunch on Sunday afternoon at a surprising secret location. Just feel like hanging out? Visit the local artisans markets and laze on the grass listening to live music in Jubilee Park, or be serenaded by a fine array of buskers on the streets.
