9am to 2pm
Main Street of Stroud
There is so much happening in Stroud this Saturday…
Find out about Stroud’s fascinating history on a guided walking tour hosted by the Stroud & District Historical Society, see a traditional blacksmith display, plus the United Ford Club Car Show is in town for the day. You’ll find the usual Fair favourites; the Quilt Displays, Open Gardens, stalls, BBQs and loads of activities for the kids.
All our local emergency services will be coming together for ‘Operation Bucketts Way’ at 10.30am, this is a multi-agency exercise showcasing the skills of the NSW Ambulance Service, NSW Police, Rural Fire Service, Dungog Fire Rescue and the State Emergency Service.
The main street will be closed for the duration of the ‘Stroud Country Fair’ from 8am to 2pm. The north bound detour will direct traffic via Broadway, Lowrey and Erin Streets, the south bound detour directs traffic via Gidley, King and Church Streets. Heavy Vehicle traffic will detour via Laman Street and Briton Court Road. Traffic controllers will be in place to manage this detour.
Plenty of parking for the fair can be found at the vacant lot corner of Memorial Avenue and Gloucester Street.
