In the early hours of Tuesday, April 21, 2015 torrential rain bucketed down in the Hunter Valley, flooding homes and businesses.
Stroud and the Dungog Shire were the hardest hit, with three lives being lost in Dungog.
Four homes in Dungog’s main street were washed away and more than 90 people were displaced from their homes.
Many businesses were inundated with floodwater, losing equipment and pretty much their livelihoods.
But the towns are resilient and the residents and business owners are quietly trying to rebuild their lives.
This DVD is a combilation of photos taken by residents and professional photographers and has been compiled by Diane Bennett OAM from Clarence Town. It contains more than 370 photos taken from around the area during and after the storm event.
All profits from this DVD will go the Disaster Relief Appeal.
The DVD is available at the Dungog Chronicle, 114 Dowling Street, Dungog for $20.
For people who live outside the area it can be posted for an additional $5 which includes postage and packaging.
