2015 celebrates 25 years of volunteer “Clean Up Australia Day” action across Australia.
Last year, thanks to an estimated 572,406 volunteers a massive 15,708 tonnes of rubbish was cleaned up at 7,140 sites across Australia. Lets make this year even bigger.
Along the Bucketts Way ICAG Inc is hosting several Clean Up events over four days;
- Thursday 26 February
- Friday 27 February
- Saturday 28 February
- Sunday 1 March
The areas covered include; Cnr. Pacific Highway along the Bucketts way, including Limeburners Creek Road to North of Deep Creek at Allworth.
The more people who volunteer, the more rubbish can be removed from the roadside, bushland and creek areas.

Since the national event started in 1990 Australians have donated more than 27.2 million hours taking to their streets, bushland, parks and waterways on Clean Up Australia Day, removing an estimated 288,650 tonnes of rubbish from 145,754 sites across the country.
