Karuah Catchment Forum

Healthy catchments = healthy environment = healthy people

Be part of the catchment management plan being developed for the Karuah River Basin. Come and have your say and be involved. The Catchment management plan will guide future actions to improve catchment and downstream estuary water condition. Plans bring together a range of issues such as soil erosion, weeds, water quality, vegetation and stream bank health; whilst also incorporating primary production and social needs.

Developing a plan helps to identify what is important form the community’s viewpoint, as well as from a catchment science perspective and importantly what actions can help maintain and improve catchment health.
